hee--my Samantha carries socks all over the house also. She proudly announces it with a hollow-sounding meow. I hope Beazlie's surgery is 100% successful, with a quick recovery.

I just read this--holy self-advocacy, Batman! Way to go!!! I was feeling sorry for myself a few minutes ago thinking about trying to get other parents involved in advocating about restraint in the schools--now I'm just going to channel you and your amazing self when I go into that meeting, and it doesn't matter if I don't have a posse at my back.

I'm so proud of you, darlin. You can do anything.

Holy crap, that's been a hell of a year. I'm glad to hear that things are getting resolved now. Kudos to you for sticking with it, standing up for yourself, and following your chosen path. Mwah!

Oh, Kristen. What a year. I am so sorry that you've been through so many traumas this past year, and that I've been completely out of touch. GOOD FOR YOU for attending that meeting. GOOD FOR YOU for forcing the system to recognize that you're a human being. In all seriousness, are the administrators not terribly concerned about how overworked, ill, stressed out physicians will affect patient care? (Probably about as concerned as academic administrators are about how overworked, ill, stressed out faculty will affect students' learning.)

Are you still spinning or knitting at all? Silly question, probably. But I'm glad you posted.
